Climb for Phoenix is a youth-led initiative dedicated to creating real pathways out of homelessness in Phoenix. Our mission is to give a hand up, not a handout, empowering individuals through community support, essential resources, and meaningful solutions.
Our Story
Climb for Phoenix was founded by Mara Northey, a 12-year-old Junior Philanthropist, inspired by a passion for service and a dream to make a difference in her community.

After volunteering with Trevor’s Vision and seeing the impact of small acts of kindness, Mara realized that collective action could bring hope and dignity to people experiencing homelessness.
Since its launch, Climb for Phoenix has united the community through events like Climb for a Cause and The Haunted Mission, raising thousands of dollars, collecting hundreds of essential items, and rallying neighbors, businesses, and leaders to join the effort.
Our Approach
We believe in:
- Empowerment: Giving people the tools and resources to regain stability and independence.
- Community: Bringing together volunteers, donors, and partners to create meaningful impact.
- Compassion in Action: Turning empathy into concrete solutions that improve lives.
Get Involved
Climb for Phoenix thrives thanks to the generosity and dedication of our supporters. Whether you donate, volunteer, sponsor an event, or simply spread the word, your involvement helps lift our neighbors out of homelessness and restore dignity to their lives.
Together, we can build a community where everyone is safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.
